Win a car & other prizes with Auto Trader

Auto Trader is launching a rather nice competition at midday on Wednesday 3 October 2012, to win a car and more besides. I thought you would like to know about it.

The car on offer is a city car: a brand new SEAT Mii. There are also 35 mystery prizes to be won, ranging from an iPad to fluffy dice. (I’d take either…)

To enter:

• You’ll need to be on Twitter.
• Follow @AutoTrader_UK.
• Follow @Miss_Thrifty, if you aren’t already. (OK, this one isn’t actually a condition of entry – but since we’re talking Twitter, I thought I’d throw it in.)
• From midday tomorrow, tweet to say why you should win the car, using the hashtag #winMiiwithAT.

 

There is some complicated stunt fandango, which involves the prize car being suspended 35 feet in the air on the South Bank in London, entrants having to “tweet it down” and 3D artwork making it look as if the car is being lifted up. But that’s all I know. You can find further details here.

Personally, I’d concentrate on coming up with a darned good reason why you should win the car, in 140 characters or less… Good luck!
