Christmas Countdown: Ten Top Deals, 02/12/12

Another week, another bevy of discounts, offers and other top-notch deals for all of us seeking to fill those Christmas stockings with lots of lovely treats, while minimising the damage to our bank accounts…

This week, I have been shopping for bargain Christmas presents in the following places:

THE WORKS: the discount bookstore chain (which also sells online, for those who don’t have a shop close by) has some good stock in at the moment. If you are buying for any foodies, it should be your first stop: this year they have loads of those lovely glossy, hardback cookery books, all at bargain prices. QUIDCO. If you are a member of this cashback website, like I am, you’ll already know that you can get money paid directly into your bank account every time you shop online at some of the UK’s most popular retailers. All you have to do, once you have signed up, is to go to the Quidco website and click through to the retailer from there. The rest happens automatically. The savings tend to be small, but they add up – especially when you combine the cashback deals with voucher codes. Current offers include:

 

As you can see, the Quidco deals are fairly fast-moving. At the time of writing, there are also good voucher & cashback offers for M&S, Debenhams and House of Fraser, but I haven’t included those here as they expire today.

The Early Learning Centre has 25% off all toys when you shop online. Just enter the code SANTA25 at the checkout. Discount expires Wednesday 05/12/12. Apparently, if you shop instore you can quote the discount to the sales staff to get it deducted at the till.

Get 20% off at buyagift, when you enter the code VC20 at checkout. Expires 10/12/2012. Choose from adult and junior driving experiences, spa days, indoor skydiving and more. Right now a bunch of the experience days are on special offer, with discounts of up to 70%, and they can all be found here.

 

FASHION

Phase Eight has some beautiful dresses on sale, with discounts of up to 70%.

SMELLIES

The online Body Shop deals I posted last time have proved popular, so here’s the up-to-date batch:

At Lloyds Pharmacy online, all perfumes have 25% off. There are 336 perfumes on the site, so whatever you’re looking for, it’s probably there…
