Channel 4: call-out for Britain’s savvy spenders

Miss Thrifty3 December 22, 2012

channel 4 savvy spenders Do you go the extra mile to save money?  Channel 4 is looking for Britain’s savvy spenders: families who have turned bargain-hunting into an art form.

Can you upcycle, recycle, put your waste to good use and bring your bills down?  Do you know how to make the most out of coupons, vouchers, competitions and deals?  Do you bulk buy, make do and mend, refuse to turn the central heating on, or make your own cleaning products?  Have you got a story to tell? Perhaps you have transformed your family’s finances or inadvertently become a financial agony aunt. Most importantly, do you get excited about saving money?  Do you enjoy the challenge of bargain hunting, and the reward that comes with finding a great deal?

Channel 4 hopes to celebrate inspiring families who make their money go further than most people could ever imagine. If you think you fit the bill, contact casting.watershed@watershedtv.co.uk – and describe yourself, your family, and the lengths you go to in the quest to save money.
