Are you in the UK? If you are, buy tomorrow’s Sunday Telegraph – and get a free hardback cookbook by tip-top Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing!

Full details of the offer can be found here. The only catch is that you have to buy the newspaper from a Morrisons supermarket. They’ll be handing out the cookbooks there and then – no faffing around with coupons and postage.

The book is How To Cook the Perfect…, which contains more than 80 popular recipes and retails at £20.

This is a great offer: in years gone by I had the pleasure of sampling Marcus’ cooking on more than one occasion, and it was always amazing. (I went there for work: tough life, eh?) The first time I ate at his restaurant Petrus I was a hardcore vegetarian. Some razzle-dazzle chefs would have thrown the ladle at me; others would have palmed me off with a butternut squash risotto. Marcus Wareing sent out specially-made dishes that were so beautiful to look at and so delicious, I daydreamed about them for months and months afterwards. Lovely man; lovely food.

If you aren’t in the UK, you can always check out the YouTube vid above (or here, if you’re reading this via e-mail) that was put together a couple of years ago, to accompany the book’s publication.
